Terms & Conditions
The following terms & conditions apply to all products purchased directly via AllState IT Pty Ltd or on the allstateit.com.au web site.
This agreement contains the limited warranty and terms and conditions applicable to all AllState IT products such as Personal Computer Systems, Notebooks, Servers, Components and Services. Please be certain to read the individual warranties for accessories contained in the shipping detail. You agree that this agreement applies to your purchase of the product, accessories and services after your limited guarantee expires, the remaining provisions of this agreement will continue to apply as stated under.
Orders & Delivery
All orders placed through this web site are subject to confirmation and acceptance by AllState IT.
AllState IT may vary prices in the event of price changes or mistakes made by suppliers on reasonable prior notice to you. If AllState IT requests payment for increased prices, you may cancel the order by giving notice to AllState IT, which must be received within seven days of the announcement of the increase.
AllState IT or its agent will deliver the goods you order to the address you specify in your order, within the agreed time frame, subject to their availability. Where the goods are not available you will be notified of this by AllState IT as soon as possible. Anyone at the delivery address who receives the goods will be presumed by AllState IT to be authorised to receive the goods.
If there is no-one at the delivery address or no-one of appropriate age to receive and pay for the order, AllState IT may charge you additional delivery fees.
Once the goods are delivered to you, you will own them and it is your responsibility if they are lost or damaged.
Return & Credit of Goods
AllState IT Pty. Ltd. has a 7 day product return policy (see below for details). | Step 1 : | Should you wish to return any AllState IT Pty. Ltd. product, AllState IT Pty. Ltd. must be notified, either by phone or e-mail advising the date of purchase, invoice number and the serial number of the product. Once the operator has identified the product, a Return Authorisation (RA) number will be issued. | | Step 2 : | The RA number should be clearly written on a sticky label placed on the outside of the shipping carton - do not write directly on the carton. If the RA number cannot be identified the product will be returned immediately at the buyer's expense. | | Step 3 : | AllState IT Pty. Ltd will supply you with the return address upon receipt of return authorisation number. AllState IT Pty. Ltd. recommends that product returned by post should be sent by registered or certified mail, at buyers expense. AllState IT Pty. Ltd. accepts no responsibility for loss or damage occurring in transit. | | Step 4 : | AllState IT Pty. Ltd. will endeavour to have your product repaired or replaced within 7 working days of its receipt, (exceptions to this may occur from time to time). |
Restrictions Imposed by Manufacturers
Hewlett-PackardIf the product fails within 30 days of it being invoiced to the final user of the product then it is considered to be Dead On Arrival (DOA). In this case please contact AllState IT Pty. Ltd.. If the product failure occurs outside this 30 day period it is considered to be a standard warranty call. In this case, the final purchaser of the product should contact Hewlett-Packard Customer Service on the phone warranty service call.

Netcomm/AvtekAny product which arrives damaged or fails shortly after sale to an end user is considered DOA. If the unit is complete and in original packaging, AllState IT can organise a replacement if contacted within 14 days of purchase or 30 days of sale to the end user. To organise a replacement under this scheme, contact AllState IT Pty. Ltd. (you may be required to forward a copy of you purchase invoice and/or the end users' purchase docket). For incomplete products or DOAs which fall outside the above parameters, warranty repairs, upgrades and replacements contact NetComm/Avtek Customer Care on (02) 9424 2055.
OKI/Mustek DOAAny OKI/Mustek product that fails within 7 days of purchase by the end user, is considered to be DOA. Resellers are required to call IPL Datron on (02) 9698 08211 to arrange consultation with IPL Service Dept. Once the fault is verified, IPL will issue an approval number which must then be given to the AllState IT Pty. Ltd. Returns Department, who will issue an RA.
SonyAllState IT Pty. Ltd. handles warranty repair on Sony floppy drives while all other products should be referred to the local Sony Service centre or authorised agent. Sony monitors are covered by a 3 year warranty, Sony floppy drives by a 2 year warranty and all other hardware products by a 12 month warranty.
Return & Credit of Goods
AllState IT Pty. Ltd. has a 7 day product return policy (see below for details).

No returns will be accepted after 7 days from invoice date, other than DOA products.
No returns will be accepted if goods have been opened and/or used.
Product supplied on a "NO Return" basis can not be returned to AllState IT Pty. Ltd. unless the product is faulty wihin the warranties imposed by statue and which cannot be excluded by agreement. Product sold on the "No Returns" basis:

- All Fujitsu Hard Drives
- Hewlett-Packard PC, server and notebook products, including accessories
- All Hewlett-Packard UNIX products
- All Honeywell OEM products
- All IBM hardware products
- All Intel CPUs, Overdrives, graphics cards and motherboard products
- All Iomega OEM products
- All Microsoft OEM products
- All Quantum Hard Drives
- All Storagetek products
- All Toshiba Products
- All products supplied under this condition will have "No Return" clearly marked on the AllState IT invoice.

Prices & Payment
For online orders we accept payment by Visa, MasterCard & BankCard
Customers are advised that our prices are updated daily, and are denoted on the website with the product. This is the final price at the time of purchase. We will not make a price adjustment should an order have already been shipped. Please note that Promotional price may not be applied after an order is placed. To cancel an order you may call in, and send an email to ensure the transaction is documented. Please note that the order cannot be cancelled without credit return authorisation number. Shipping costs are not refundable.
For each order, you must pay the applicable price for the relevant goods andthe delivery and handling fee specified on the web site or as quoted.
Your order and credit card details are safe and secure. AllState IT uses SecurePay's Internet payment service gateway to provide a secure environment for the authorisation of credit card transactions over the Internet. All personal and credit card information provided to AllState IT Pty Ltd is also encoded using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, an encryption protocol that protects data as it travels over the Internet.
All returns for credit or exchange could be subjected to a 15% restocking fee and must be completed within 30 days from the invoice date. Most of our manufacturers simply do not allow opened non-defective items to be returned for credit or exchange.
Delivery Address and Contact Details
When placing an order with us, where we are to deliver goods to you, we require a physical street address. To assist us in processing your order, please provide your land-line phone number. Delivery is via courier and cannot be to a Post Office Box. Please note that an authorised signatory needs to be at the delivery address to sign for and collect the goods, and that photo identification may be requested.
Your Login & Account Details
It is the responsibility of the customer to protect and authorise the use of user names and passwords. AllState IT Pty Ltd will not take responsibility for customer user names and password protection. Both account & COD customers are liable to pay all monies outstanding from the purchase of goods on their account by any person that used their user name or password. You agree to release and indemnify AllState IT in connection with any use (whether authorised or unauthorised) of your user name or password. AllState IT may suspend or cancel your account at any time without prior notice.
Pictures & Images
AllState IT aims to include up-to-date pictures of all of the goods on this web site. However, our picture of the goods may differ from the actual goods. We recommend you read the labels on the goods carefully before using the goods.
Privacy

AllState IT complies with the National Privacy Principles and the Privacy Act 1998 (Cth). Any and all information collected at this site will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, rented, loaned, or otherwise voluntarily disclosed to any person or company except for the purposes of fulfilling your order. Liability
Any liability of AllState IT in connection with goods or services supplied to you will, subject to any non-excludable liability for breach of conditions or warranties implied by legislation and to the maximum extent permitted by law, at the election of AllState IT be limited to:
- in relation to goods, the replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods; and
- in relation to services, the supplying of the services again or the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.
Changes to Terms
Each order is governed by the terms and conditions current when the order is placed. AllState IT may add to, delete or otherwise change these terms and conditions without notice. It is your responsibility to read and understand these terms and conditions each time you place an order.
